1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) are entered into between Dan Books It LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”), and the client (“you” or “your”). By booking travel services through Dan Books It LLC, you agree to be bound by this Agreement as well as the terms and conditions of any third-party travel suppliers (“Suppliers”) involved in your booking.

2. Role as an Intermediary

Dan Books It LLC acts solely as an intermediary between you and various Suppliers, including but not limited to airlines, cruise lines, hotels, tour operators, and ground transportation providers. Each Supplier has its own separate terms, conditions, and policies—including payment schedules, cancellation rules, and refund policies. By booking through us, you agree to be bound by all applicable Supplier terms.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Deposits

A deposit may be required at the time of booking. Deposit amounts and refundability vary by Supplier and will be communicated to you in writing.

3.2 Final Payment

Final payment dates depend on the Supplier and the specific trip. Failure to make timely final payment may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of your deposit.

3.3 Methods of Payment

Acceptable payment methods vary by Supplier. You will be informed of available payment methods at the time of booking. Some payment methods may incur processing fees.

4. Pricing and Inclusions/Exclusions

4.1 Pricing

All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise and are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, increases in taxes, airfare changes, or Supplier-driven adjustments.

4.2 Inclusions

Your booking confirmation will specify all included services (e.g., accommodations, meals, transportation, guided tours).

4.3 Exclusions

Items typically not included unless specifically stated:

Travel insurance
Personal expenses
Visa fees
Tips and gratuities
Items not explicitly listed in your confirmation

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Cancellation by You

Cancellation penalties vary by Supplier. All applicable fees will be communicated at booking.

5.2 Cancellation by Us or Suppliers

If Dan Books It LLC or a Supplier cancels your travel arrangements, you will be offered a full refund or a comparable alternative subject to Supplier policies.

5.3 Refunds

Refund timelines and eligibility are determined by Suppliers. Some components may be strictly non-refundable.

6. Changes and Modifications

6.1 Changes Requested by You

Changes must be requested in writing. Additional fees may apply and changes are subject to Supplier approval.

6.2 Changes by Us or Suppliers

We reserve the right to make minor necessary changes (e.g., itinerary adjustments). Significant changes will be communicated promptly.

6.3 Planning Fees

Dan Books It LLC provides professional travel planning, research, and booking services that often require significant time coordinating with Suppliers, reviewing options, revising itineraries, and assisting with trip planning.

In situations where extensive planning services have been provided and the trip is subsequently canceled, postponed indefinitely, or not booked after significant time has been invested, Dan Books It LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to charge a planning fee.

Examples of services that may result in a planning fee include, but are not limited to:

• Researching travel options and pricing
• Preparing quotes or itineraries
• Revising reservations or trip dates multiple times
• Coordinating with Suppliers on behalf of the client
• Providing destination guidance, travel recommendations, or consultation

If a planning fee is assessed, the client will be notified in writing and provided with an invoice for the applicable amount.

Any planning fee charged compensates Dan Books It LLC for professional time and services already rendered and is separate from any Supplier cancellation penalties or fees.

7. Travel Insurance

7.1 Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. A quote will be provided prior to your final payment due date.

7.2 Disclaimer

If you decline insurance, you assume all financial risk related to cancellation, itinerary interruption, medical emergencies, baggage issues, and other unforeseen circumstances. Dan Books It LLC is not responsible for these losses.

8. Health and Safety

8.1 Health Requirements

You are responsible for meeting all health and vaccination requirements for your travel destination.

8.2 Safety

We provide general safety information when available but are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages resulting from circumstances beyond our control.

9. Liability and Disclaimer

9.1 Limitation of Liability

Dan Books It LLC is not responsible for any injury, loss, delay, or irregularity caused by any Supplier or event outside of our control.

9.2 Force Majeure

We are not liable for failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, war, strikes, or governmental actions.

10. Passports and Visas

You are solely responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents, including passports, visas, and any required entry permissions.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.

12. Amendments

Dan Books It LLC reserves the right to update or amend these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.

13. Acceptance

By making a booking with Dan Books It LLC, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by:

• These Terms & Conditions
• All applicable Supplier terms
• Our privacy and marketing communications policies

You also consent to receiving marketing emails. You may opt out at any time.

14. Queen Mary 2 Voyages & Kennel Policies

14.1 Kennel and Final Payment Terms

For Cunard Queen Mary 2 voyages:

If you book a sailing that is already within the final payment window, Cunard does not waive penalties if kennel space is not available. You assume this risk when booking.

14.2 Pet Preparation and Documentation

You are solely responsible for preparing your pet for travel, including all required:

Vaccinations
Health certificates
Governmental approvals
Cunard-specific documentation

Failure to comply may result in denial of boarding with no refund.

15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

By authorizing payment for any travel service arranged by Dan Books It LLC, you acknowledge that the payment is for services rendered and travel arrangements secured on your behalf.

You agree not to initiate a credit card chargeback or payment dispute for services properly provided in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and applicable Supplier policies.

In the event a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated for a valid transaction, Dan Books It LLC reserves the right to recover any costs, fees, or losses incurred as a result of the dispute.

16. Independent Booking After Planning

Travel quotes, itineraries, recommendations, and travel research prepared by Dan Books It LLC are the intellectual work product of Dan Books It LLC.

If a client chooses to use travel research, recommendations, or itineraries provided by Dan Books It LLC to book directly with a Supplier or through another agency without completing the booking through Dan Books It LLC, we reserve the right to charge a planning or consultation fee to compensate for the professional services provided.

17. Supplier Waivers and Participation Requirements

Certain travel Suppliers require guests to sign waivers, liability releases, or participation agreements before travel or participation in specific activities.

Clients are responsible for completing all required Supplier documentation. Failure to complete required waivers or agreements may result in denied participation, denied boarding, or cancellation without refund according to Supplier policies.

Dan Books It LLC is not responsible for any consequences resulting from a client’s failure to complete required Supplier documentation.
